Do kids need prior chess knowledge?

No. We welcome absolute beginners as well as experienced young players.

Which language are classes taught in?

We teach in German, English, and Russian — and make every child feel welcome, no matter their background.

How do online classes work?

Kids join via Zoom with interactive boards and games that keep them engaged, just like in-person lessons.

How many kids are in one group?

We keep small groups of up to 12 kids so that every child gets personal attention.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Missed lessons can be made up during the same semester or carried over to the next one if your child stays enrolled.

Is chess suitable for young children?

Yes! We offer age-appropriate teaching methods that make learning fun and engaging, even for younger kids.

Can parents watch the lessons?

Parents can stay for the trial lesson if no other kids are in the group. To help your child focus, we recommend waiting outside and coming back afterward to pick them up and chat with us.

Do you prepare kids for tournaments?

Yes. For interested students, we provide training that helps them feel confident in competitions.
